As is tradition, the morning of a Riders home game always creates more traffic on highway 11 between Saskatoon and Regina, but traffic was backed up more than usual after a crash near Disley.
Few details are known at this time, but as seen in photos sent in by CTV Saskatoon photographer Chad Hills, traffic seemed to slow to a crawl as Lumsden RCMP routed traffic around the collision. Ocupants of both vehicles were transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
Another crash was reported along highway 11 a short time later, this time near the turn off to Regina Beach. According to reports to the CTV newsroom, traffic was backed up at this location as well.
