A ground and aerial search of snowmobile trails area near Kelvington has failed to locate a missing snowmobiler.
Members of snowmobile clubs from Kelvington, Wadena, Archerwill and Quill Lake along with civilian air search and rescue and RCMP were involved in Monday's search for Dennis Malischewski.
The most recent sighting of Malischewski was Sunday at approximately 12:45 p.m. in an area just south of Kelvington, RCMP said in a news release. At the time, he was accompanied by another male snowmobile rider who is described as 5-foot-6, 150 pounds with dark hair and moustache. He was wearing a red snowmobile suit with the emblem "FOX" or possibly "FXR" on the jacket.
Police and volunteers are continuing the search and investigation.
