A 26-year-old woman wanted for attempted murder has been caught, according to Saskatchewan RCMP.

Shantel Laureen Mike was apprehended Wednesday without incident in Prince Albert. She’s one of two people charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, kidnapping, robbery and vehicle theft in relation to an alleged assault on the Montreal Lake Cree Nation this week.

The second suspect, 30-year-old Kevin Brian Henderson, has yet to be found, according to police.

RCMP issued a media release Monday stating they were looking for 66-year-old Marina Henderson following reports of an assault at the Montreal Lake Medical Clinic. The assault allegedly occurred in a vehicle registered under the 66-year-old’s name.

Police said the following day she was found safe, but informed the public they were now looking for two individuals as a result of an investigation into the assault.

An update Thursday stated officers had apprehended Mike but were still unsure of Kevin Henderson’s whereabouts.

Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact RCMP or Crimestoppers. He may be armed and dangerous, and police advise the public not to approach him.
