In October 2020, Alessandra Carneiro left CTV News Saskatoon to join CTV News in Barrie
Alessandra Carneiro is Video Journalist at CTV Saskatoon. She formerly worked at CTV Yorkton.
Alessandra was born in Toronto, Ontario. At an early age had a passion for television and radio broadcasting. Alessandra graduated from the Media Communication program, at Brock University in St. Catharines Ontario. She started her career with Bell Media Toronto Radio, working as production coordinator for 99.9 Virgin Radio and then soon after as a production assistant on the iconic 104.5 CHUM FM Morning Show with Roger Ashby and Marilyn Denis. Her will to learn every part of the broadcasting business later led Alessandra to work with the Bell Media Toronto radio sales team.
After a few years in radio, Alessandra decided to develop her craft and follow her passion by making the transition into television news here in Saskatchewan.
She is excited to be calling Saskatchewan her new home and looks forward to telling the stories that matter here and across the country!
