A house party that Prince Albert police say “deteriorated into an altercation” left three people suffering from stab wounds early Friday morning.

Officers were called to the 900 block of 7th Street East in Prince Albert shortly after 4 a.m. Three people were found stabbed and suffering non-life-threatening when police arrived.

The victims were transported to Victoria Union Hospital and were in stable condition as of Friday afternoon.

Police have so far interviewed multiple individuals and, as a result, arrested five people.

The matter is still under investigation, according to police, and criminal and forensic officers are assisting the investigation.

Charges are pending against the five arrested.
