A Saskatoon cyclist was sent to hospital in serious condition after colliding with a vehicle late Thursday night.
The collision too place just after 11:20 p.m. when a 21-year-old male cyclist was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 22nd Street and Second Avenue. The manwas taken to Royal University Hospital in serious condition, MD Ambulance said in a news release.
Saskstoon police said witnesses reported the car was northbound on Second Avenue when a cyclist traveling southbound attempted a turn onto 22nd Street and into the path of the car.
The driver of the vehicle, a 29-year-old man, and his two passengers were not injured.
Also Thursday night, a 26-year-old man was treated at the scene for minor injuries after a vehicle roll over at 25th street and Fourth Avenue just before 10:30 p.m.
There were also minor injuries in a collision between a semi-truck a truck just after 11 p.m. as well as a crash between two vehicles at Ruth Street and Victoria Avenue at 12:30 a.m. Friday.
