STC travelers where caught off guard Wednesday morning when a passenger was arrested shortly after arriving in Saskatoon.

Police apprehended a 16-year-old boy who was traveling from British Columbia after they discovered he was traveling with 1,000 pre-packed units of cocaine. After an investigation by the Saskatoon Police’s drug unit, he was arrested.

Police believe the boy could be part of an organized crime network. He is now in custody and facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
