Fitness fanatics hit the bikes on Saturday in memory of Quinn Stevenson – a Saskatoon boy killed by a drunk driver in 2013.

Quinn’s family continued his legacy with the second annual Spin for Quinn day. Gym-goers could register for classes throughout the day at Mawson Health and Fitness, with all funds donated to the Quinn Stevenson Memorial Athletic and Spirit Trust.

Quinn’s family hopes events like this will help prevent drunk driving.

“It just warms our heart all the time to be able to give back in Quinn’s name,” said Quinn’s mother Bonny Stevenson. “It also helps keep his name alive in the community by putting his name to things and just generally doing good things.”

This year’s event raised more than $2,500 to help support local community programs.
