A date has been set for an appeal by a Saskatchewan man convicted of killing two RCMP officers.
Curtis Dagenais was found guilty of shooting and killing constables Marc Bourdages and Robin Cameron near Spiritwood in 2006.
The officers were killed following a police pursuit of Dagenais.
After being found guilty on two counts of first-degree murder, Dagenais began appealing his conviction in 2009. The appeal is scheduled to be heard Oct. 25.
