A Saskatoon man pleaded not guilty to four child pornography-related offences in Court of Queen’s Bench Tuesday morning.
Abdul Rehman Jat pleaded not guilty to child luring, possession of child pornography, distributing child pornography and extortion to obtain intimate images.
The evidence presented Tuesday is subject to a publication ban because it was heard during a voir dire – a trial within a trial, which determines if the evidence is admissible in court.
The trial is scheduled to begin on Jan. 2.
