Friends and family of Quinn Stevenson took to the links at the Willows Golf Club for the fourth annual Quinn Stevenson Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday afternoon.
Around 170 golfers came out to honour the teen, who was killed by a drunk driver in 2013. Quinn’s mother says golf was one of her son’s favourite sports growing up – and he would have loved the tournament.
“Quinn would be all over this. He would be in the brightest costume you could imagine, because you can’t get colours bright enough for Quinn,” his mother Bonny Stevenson said. “He would love the day. This has Quinn’s name written all over it.”
All of the money raised will go towards Quinn’s trust, helping to support local athletes.
