A 47-year-old man is dead after the motorcycle he was driving crashed in southeastern Saskatchewan. Police responded to a call just before 6 Saturday night on Highway 8. RCMP say the man failed to negotiate a curve in the highway. He was pronounced dead on scene. Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash. The victim's name has not been released.

Just before 5 on Sunday another motorcycle crash happened but this time it was in the city. It happened on Avenue C and 23rd Street. It's believed the motorcycle driver was taken to hospital. The intersection was blocked off while crews investigated.
