Firefighters received the call reporting a fire on the 500 block of 8th Street East at 10:25 p.m. Saturday.
They arrived on scene approximately four minutes later, to find smoke and flames at the back of the two-storey home.
Firefighters first battled flames from the outside before entering the home, and extinguish the fire.
It was determined nobody was inside, and there are no reported injuries.
Damage is estimated at $150,000. The fire remains under investigation.
