Search continues for man wanted in connection with all-day manhunt in northern Sask.
The Saskatchewan RCMP are still searching for 28-year-old Dallas Fulton, wanted in connection with a dangerous person alert sent out across the province in October.
Fulton, a Prince Albert resident, faces eight criminal charges related to robbery, assault and firearms offences after a series of armed vehicle robberies on Oct. 24(opens in a new tab). In one incident that morning, a man was shot before the group of suspects stole his truck, triggering an all-day manhunt.
Police tracked the group’s progress northeast on Highway 123, where they abandoned their vehicle in the Thunder Rapids area.
In an update sent Friday afternoon, the RCMP said the investigation remains active and officers continue to check places Fulton is known to visit.
According to RCMP, officers conducted an aerial search of the Thunder Rapids area by plane on Dec. 13, but did not find Fulton.
Fulton has also been reported missing by his family. He is described as approximately 120 pounds, five feet and five inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair. Police say there is a tattoo of a sad face on his right hand, and a tattoo of a happy face on his left hand.
The RCMP say officers have also not been able to make contact with 21-year-old Brody Lebel, a person of interest in the investigation who has now been reported missing.
Police say he has not been charged and they just want to speak with him.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Dallas Fulton or Brody Lebel is asked to call police.
Two other suspects involved in the investigation were arrested on Oct. 24, hours after the victim was shot north of Prince Albert.
Eighteen-year-old Melissa McCallum from La Ronge and 33-year-old Angus Heathen from Prince Albert face multiple criminal charges.
The RCMP also added two additional charges to Heathen, including possession contrary to a prohibition order and failure to comply with a probation order.
