Three people were sent to hospital after a three-vehicle collision Monday night just east of Saskatoon.
The crash took place at the intersection of Highway 5 and Highway 41 just after 7 p.m. when a vehicle turning north drove into the path of a vehicle that was travelling west on Highway 5. The collision then saw the first vehicle collide with a third vehicle that was stopped at a stop sign on Highway 41.
Three people received mild to moderate injuries and were taken to hospital by MD Ambulance, Saskatoon police said in a news release. Firefighters used rescue tools to extricate a female from one of the vehicles.
One driver has been charged with failing to yield to an approaching vehicle when turning left.
