It’s the end of an era at CTV Saskatoon, former CFQC weatherman Greg Barnsley has died.
Barnsley was one of the first employees at the station when it first went to air in 1954. He retired in 1992. Barnsley died after a short illness Monday. He was 83 years old.
The CTV Saskatoon studio was upgraded and renamed after Greg Barnsley in 2014. His son Jim Barnsley continues to work at CTV as a camera operator.
