Saskatchewan is set to have a third area code in two years.
The CRTC approved a plan earlier this month for area code 474 to come into effect Oct. 2, 2021.
The 306 and 639 area codes are expected to run out of numbers by September 2022.
The 639 area code was introduced in 2012.
