Saskatoon police have made an arrest after identifying one of four suspects in an armed robbery last week.
Officers arrested a 24-year-old man Monday night after Westmount Foods was robbed at gunpoint. He’s facing a number of charges including robbery, wearing a disguise and possession of a weapon, according to police.
Police say three men and a woman entered the convenience store, on 29th Street West, just after 7:15 p.m. last Monday.
One man was armed with a handgun and ordered the lone employee to the floor before the suspects stole cash from the till and cigarettes.
The police service released photos Monday of the four alleged offenders, hoping the public can help identify the three remaining suspects.
One of the photos shows the arrested man, armed with a gun, threatening a store employee. The other pictures show the remaining suspects, who police are still working to identify.
Anyone with information on the robbery or who can identify the suspects is asked to call police at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
