Icy conditions are believed to be a main factor in a single vehicle accident on the Sid Buckwald Bridge.

The Saskatoon Police Service received the call around 11 a.m. on December 28th. Traffic was delayed as the vehicle was taken away by tow truck. No one was injured in the accident.

Police are reminding motorists to exercise caution when driving during extreme temperature shifts. Temperatures dipped below -30 degrees Celsius overnight, which can lead to icy road conditions; especially on the city’s bridges.
