A former residential school supervisor found guilty of indecent assault was sentenced to just under three years in jail Thursday.
Paul Leroux was found guilty last month on eight counts of indecent assault and two counts of gross indecency against several boys who attended Beauval Indian Residential School in the 1960s.
Leroux was a dormitory supervisor at the school in the 1950s and 1960s.
He was sentenced Thursday in North Battleford to just under three years in jail.
In 1998, Leroux was sentenced to 10 years in prison for abusing boys and young men at Grollier Hall — a residential school in Inuvik ran by the Roman Catholic Church.
Leroux worked as an activities supervisor and guidance counsellor at Grollier.
