Court records from the Northwest Territories show a former dormitory supervisor charged with abuse at a Saskatchewan residential school has a history of abusing students in his care.
The records show Paul Leroux was convicted in 1998 for abusing boys and young men at Grollier Hall -- a residential school in Inuvik run by the Roman Catholic Church.
The 70-year-old man was charged earlier this week with indecent assault between 1960 and 1967 involving boys who attended the Beauval Indian Residential School.
He'll appear in Beauval court on Oct. 19.
