Several highways across the province are experiencing icy and slippery conditions, according to the Highway Hotline. Drivers are reminded to take care while travelling.

A two-vehicle collision happened on Highway #13, about two kilometres west of Kincaid, just after 10:00 a.m. Monday.

RCMP arrived to find one driver already dead, and the other suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. He is now recovering in Gravelbourg Hospital.

Traffic on the icy highway was closed until 3:00 p.m.

The family of the deceased contacted CTV Regina and identified him as 69-year-old Father Raymond Carignan, from Ponteix, Sask. No funeral arrangements have been made yet, but the Ponteix Funeral Home will have more information as plans are finalized.
