The victim in Saskatoon’s seventh homicide of the year has been identified by police.
Johnathon Keenatch-Lafond, 35, of Saskatoon died after he was stabbed on Nov. 17 by attackers who entered his suite in an apartment building 1400 block of 20th Street West.
When officers arrived at the scene just after midnight they found the victim suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
At the time, police said the incident was not a random attack.
Investigators are now asking that anyone who had contact with Keenatch-Lafond prior to his death or who may have information about the incident to contact police.
