A two-year-old-girl from Melfort died Friday afternoon after being struck by a van.
At approximately 2:10 p.m. Firday a community handi-van driven by an adult male hit a small girl. The child was taken to hospital in Melfort where she was declared deceased a short time later.
An RCMP accident reconstructionist was requested and examined the scene.
The name of the girl is not being released at this time.
