A group of Saskatchewan strippers held a car wash on Sunday to raise money for breast cancer, and to protest stripping laws in the province.
Dancers from the ‘Pink Champagne Girls Company’ washed cars at the Legacy Lounge on 8th Street. They say they're donating all the funds to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
They also want to protest the Saskatchewan government's reversal on stripping laws.
Before 2014, Saskatchewan law barred stripping in venues where alcohol was sold. Last year regulations were changed so dancers could strip down to panties and underwear in bars, but in late March, the government reversed that decision.
The dancers say there is now confusion about the laws and its hurting their business.
