A potash mine east of Saskatoon is shut down after a roof collapsed at one of the mine's structures.
Workers were evacuated from the Colonsay mine operated by Mosaic Co. after the dome roof of a processing facility known as the thickner building caved in at approximately 1:30 p.m. Monday.
A Mosaic spokesperson said says the collapse happened in a low-traffic area. No one was injured in the incident.
Mine safety officials are investigating the cause of the collapse.
