Police looking for armed and dangerous man in Prince Albert area

An armed and dangerous man is at large and police believe he may be in the Prince Albert area. An arrest warrant was issued for 41 year old Vernon John Laprise of LaLoche. Police say he should not be approached.

On May 8th, Reg's Store in La Loche, Saskatchewan, was robbed at knife point by two men dressed all in black. Witness's say the two men used bandanas to cover their faces and a large knife was used to threaten the woman at the till. RCMP say one of the people involved was seen walking into the store and pulling a bandana over his face and then running out of the store with the till under his arm.

Laprise is described as 5'7 (170cms) tall and 150lbs (68kgs) with a long pony tail down his back. Laprise has numerous tattoos on his torso and arms. A tattoo of the word "Scorpion" is written across his back, he also has 2 scorpions over his upper chest, pictures of handguns under both arms and numerous other tribal art symbols and names of people.
