A Prince Albert nurse who received a fine from the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association will not have to pay out of pocket.

Carolyn Strom was fined $26,000 after writing a post on Facebook more than two years ago commenting on care her grandfather received at a nursing home in Macklin, Sask. She was found guilty of professional misconduct in connection with the incident.

An online fundraising effort has now raised $26,000 to pay the fine for Strom.
