One of two men charged in the stabbing death of Dustin Boulet has pleaded guilty.

Estevan Fuenzalida, 24, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and two counts of being an accessory after the fact to aggravated assault Thursday in a Saskatoon court room.

Boulet was killed March 1 after he was stabbed outside Bridges bar on 22nd Street West while celebrating his 29th birthday. Witnesses said he was trying to break up a fight.

Fuenzalida was previously charged with being an accessory after the fact to second-degree murder and two counts of being an accessory to aggravated assault before the charges were upgraded in May.

Nathan Joseph, 27, is charged with second-degree murder in Boulet’s death. A preliminary hearing for Joseph is scheduled for Jan. 12.
