Saskatoon firefighters needed rescue tools to free two people after a crash on the city’s west edge Tuesday night.
Emergency crews were called to the two-vehicle crash at 22nd Street and Neault Road around 8:30 p.m.
Two people were trapped in one of the vehicles when fire crews arrived. Rescuers used hydraulic tools to remove the doors and extricate the pair.
The two were taken to hospital. The extent of their injuries is not yet known, the fire department said in a media release.
