A Saskatoon couple is being credited with saving a Dubois Center patient Friday night.

At approximately 9:30 Friday evening, a woman walked away from the Royal University Hospital, and crawled over the railing on the University Bridge.

A couple walking nearby saw the woman, and while the man engaged her in a conversation, the woman called 911.

The woman released her grip from the railing just before police arrived, and the man grabbed her, and with the help of the police, pulled her to safety.

According to the Saskatoon Police, the couple’s actions were instrumental in saving the woman’s life.
