A Saskatoon business that nearly became its own island is now flood free and no longer in jeopardy.
Wilson's Greenhouses and Garden Centre fired most of its staff while water cut off the major access to its entrance and covered the parking lot. Today, the staff is back to work and getting ready for the busy planting season.
The owner says the lake surrounding the building literally dried up overnight. He says this is thanks to the city for their pumping and water diverting efforts.
