Saskatoon police say charges are pending after a fatal three-vehicle crash on Circle Drive early Wednesday afternoon.
Police say it appears the driver of a northbound vehicle lost control, crossed the median and struck a southbound vehicle on Circle Drive at 108th Street shortly before 1:30 p.m.
A 70-year-old man died at the scene. His name hasn’t been released.
A 17-year-old boy was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries and released into police custody. Several charges are pending, including dangerous driving causing death, police said.
The crash shut down a section of Circle Drive for several hours while police investigated. All lanes of traffic have since reopened.
