A six-year-old boy is in hospital in serious condition after a two-vehicle crash near Martensville.

Paramedics were called to the collision just after 10 a.m. Monday, according to a spokesperson for MD Ambulance. The crash occurred at the main entrance to the city.

The boy and a 42-year-old woman were taken to Royal University Hospital. The woman is in stable condition, the MD spokesperson said.

Two other occupants involved in the crash did not require medical treatment.

RCMP are still investigating.
