Saskatoon’s cloverleaf interchange isn’t so lucky lately.

The overpass at Highway 11 and Circle Drive East was hit Tuesday for the second time in less than two months.

Police say a semi-truck struck the overpass at about 3:30 p.m.  No one was injured, but traffic was backed up on Circle Drive all the way to Clarence Avenue as police investigated and crews cleared the scene.

The collision was the second time since March 16 the overpass has been struck. A cultivator being hauled by a semi-truck hit the cloverleaf’s underside that morning.

Several girder lines were clipped in the March 16 crash, according to a city spokesperson. Damage was estimated between $500,000 and $1 million.
