SaskPower is warning the public to be aware of a telemarketing scam. The crown corporation says it has received complaints from customers who have been contacted by telephone with an offer to buy a product that will cut their power costs. The caller claims to be a SaskPower or SaskHydro representative.
SaskPower says this is not one of their promotions and that they do not make calls to residential customers to sell products or services. They also warn that there is no organization called SaskHydro in the province.
