Saskatoon police Tasered a man after he held a pair of scissors and a needle to his neck.
Police said they Tasered the man to prevent self-harm.
Officers tracked and approached the suspect on the 300 block of Avenue W North, after police say he stole from a grocery store on 22nd Street West and assaulted an employee.
The man is facing charges of theft, assault and uttering threats.
