PotashCorp is welcoming Jochen Tilk as the company’s new president and CEO.
Tilk marked his fifth day as the company’s CEO Tuesday, telling media he couldn’t be happier with the welcoming atmosphere that both PotashCorp and Saskatoon has to offer.
“I certainly have been dealt a great hand of cards. I can take [PotashCorp] from its current success and work with the people here to build on that success,” said Tilk.
Tilk, who is from Germany, replaces former CEO Bill Doyle, who recently retired.
Tilk’s goals for the future of the company involve guiding PotashCorp to new opportunities as well as being able to deal with fluctuations in the market.
