A 19-year-old man will appear in court in Prince Albert Monday morning charged with killing a woman whose body was found on a trail.
RCMP have identified the victim as 40-year-old Heather Ballantyne of the Pelican Narrows First Nation.
Police say her body was found last Tuesday in Pelican Narrows and that an autopsy has determined she died of ligature strangulation.
John Bob Glen Custer of Pelican Narrows has been charged with second-degree murder.
