A 59-year-old Nipawin man is facing drug charges after a three-month RCMP investigation.

Mounties recently executed a search warrant in Nipawin, Sask. following the investigation, which was assisted by the Saskatchewan Safe Communities and Neighbourhoods and the Prince Albert Integrated Street Team.

James Nordick was charged with trafficking morphine and possession of morphine for the purpose of trafficking as a result of the search.

He is scheduled to appear in Nipawin provincial court Sept. 10.
