A murder charge has been laid after a fatal stabbing at a hotel in North Battleford.
Nicholas Clifford Giroux, 36, of Saskatoon has been charged with second-degree murder.
RCMP say they found a man with multiple stab wounds in a North Battleford hotel room early Monday morning. He died later in hospital.
The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Thang Sian Mang of Saskatoon.
An autopsy was conducted Tuesday in Saskatoon, and investigators are continuing to gather evidence at the scene.
Giroux made his first appearance in a Saskatoon courtroom Tuesday afternoon. The case was adjourned until Friday morning.
