Prince Albert police say foul play is not suspected in the death of a man found last month in the city’s rail yard area.

The 46-year-old’s body was found in a field in the 400 block of 15th Street East shortly after 2:30 p.m. Feb. 22. He had been reported missing the previous day.

Police described the incident as a sudden death and the service’s criminal investigation unit was called in alongside the coroner’s office to investigate.

An update Friday stated police do not suspect foul play.

The coroner’s office is now handling the investigation, police said.
