Evacuation lifted after bomb threat at North Battleford high school

An evacuation has been lifted after a bomb threat at a high school in North Battleford on Thursday.

RCMP completed a thorough search of John Paul II High School and say no suspicious materials have been located.

The threat came in around 1:30 p.m. Students were sent to a safe location and parents were notified.

Mounties say they worked closely with officials at Light of Christ Catholic Schools to ensure the ongoing safety and well-being of students and staff at the school.

Every threat complaint is taken seriously, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing, RCMP said.
