A driver escaped uninjured Thursday after a car and train crashed on Saskatoon’s north side.
Emergency crews were called to the collision at the Quebec Avenue and 40th Street rail crossing at about 3 p.m.
The lone occupant of the car was shaken but not injured, the Saskatoon Fire Department said in a media release. No one needed to be extricated from the vehicle.
Both the car and train were travelling at low speeds, the department said.
