RCMP in Warman have arrested two men after an investigation into an alleged assault at a Martensville home on March 9.

Police received a report from a 19-year-old Martensville man that he was assaulted at a house party by two men, one of whom was wearing brass knuckles.

The man had to be taken to hospital, where he was treated for a broken bone in his skull that required plastic surgery and a metal plate to repair. He also suffered bruises and other related injuries.

Brant Alfred Detillieux, 18, has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a prohibited weapon and will appear in provincial court on May 22. Christopher Ptolmey, 19, was charged with assault and possession of a weapon. He will appear in provincial court on May 29.
