One driver is dead and a second is in hospital after a collision northeast of Prince Albert, Sask.
RCMP say the head-on crash happened Tuesday night on a grid road north of the village of Love.
They say the impact left one of the vehicles engulfed in flames.
One driver died at the scene while the second person was taken to the Nipawin hospital and later transferred to Prince Albert for treatment of serious injuries.
Police have not released any names.
They say area residents helped provide assistance at the scene until emergency crews arrived.
