Prince Albert Police were alerted to the discovery of human remains in the North Saskatchewan River on Sunday evening.
Two people out kayaking located a body along the river bank, east of the city near the airport. Crews recovered the body and an autopsy is scheduled to occur on Wednesday.
The Criminal Investigation Division along with the Office of the Chief Coroner are investigating and attempting to identify the person found.
