An early morning crash on Saskatoon’s Circle Drive sent a 24-year-old woman to hospital.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at 6:45 a.m. Friday. A truck stopped on Circle Drive, waiting to turn left onto Faithfull Avenue, was struck from behind by a car.

The woman driving the car became trapped and had to be cut out of the vehicle by fire crews, police said in a media release.

She was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The truck driver was not hurt.

Traffic was diverted until crews cleared the scene.
