The Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (SIDEST) executed a search warrant with the Tactical Support Unit and a canine unit at a motel in the 2500 block of 22nd Street West at 9:15 on Thursday, August 27.

Police say they seized the following items from the room:

  • One shotgun
  • One .22 caliber rifle
  • One 30-06 rifle

Police arrested a 35-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman in connection with the seizure, including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of weapons dangerous to the public, and possession of proceeds of crime. The man is also wanted on a Canada wide warrant for breach of statutory release.
