A 15-year-old girl has been arrested and is facing charges related to a violent assault from Tuesday.
Just before noon on Tuesday, RCMP from Sturgeon Lake responded to a call that a 20-year-old woman was suffering from stab wounds at the Sturgeon Lake First Nation. Emergency crews transported the victim to hospital in Prince Albert to treat non-life-threatening injuries.
A 15-year-old female was arrest at the scene and taken into custody. She is also from Sturgeon Lake First Nation. The teen has been charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
